Female Sprinting Star Suspended For Failed Drug Test

Jamaica's Veronica Campbell-Brown, winner of the 2004 and 2008 Olympics women's 200m and reigning world champion, reportedly failed a drug test after testing positive for a banned diuretic used as a masking agent. After Campbell-Brown voluntarily withdrew from competition, her manager stated that she denied using any substances to give her an unfair advantage. The case will be reviewed by a disciplinary panel.
